Residential Construction

Overview

Why is it so important to support our local charities and sponsor island events? The answer is simple. We at the Mick Olsen Corp. came from this community, and giving back to it is just the right thing to do. Whether it’s helping with neighborhood development or bringing some joy to Independence Day celebrations, it’s our pleasure to be a part of creating memories and enhancing the lives of our Whidbey Island friends and neighbors.

Celebrate America 3rd of July Fireworks Show - Freeland, WA.

Each year on July 3rd, the Mick Olsen Corporation puts on a non-profit, family-friendly fireworks show in Freeland, WA. Professionally staged with all-volunteer labor, the shows are a spectacular addition to local celebrations.

Ryan's House for Youth - Clinton, WA.

The Mick Olsen Corp. is a major supporter of Ryan’s House for Youth, a non-profit organization in Clinton, WA. that’s dedicated to providing a safe and stable environment for homeless and at-risk youth on Whidbey Island.  They work to ensure that these youths maintain the ability to focus on academics and personal growth with the help of qualified adult mentors and a safe place to reside. Currently, we are aiding in the construction of their new facility, located on South Whidbey Island.

Hearts & Hammers - Langley, WA.

We support Hearts & Hammers of South Whidbey (www.heartsandhammers.com), a local non-profit organization that brings together hundreds of volunteers annually to help repair and rehabilitate homes of those who are physically or financially unable to do the work alone. In the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors, homeowners receive labor and materials at no cost to them thanks to the contributions and support of the larger community, including individual volunteers, churches, service and community organizations and local businesses.

Boys & Girls Club of America - Island County, WA / Palm Springs, CA
